Meet Simon
Thought I'd add a bit on the website about me. Don't want to bore you, but hopefully after reading this you'll know a little bit more about me.
For as long as I can remember, Ive always had a camera close by. From first using my Mums Kodak Brownie, and then saving pocket money to buy my own (it was one of those cameras that you pressed the shutter, then pushed it together to wind the cassette film on - very 1980's) right up to now.
The ability to freeze something in time is such a powerful thing. To take a picture of someone and lock that particular time, day year in history, is immense.
People interest and amaze me. There is nothing better than meeting clients at the first consultation, getting to know them better through the engagement shoot, and then watching all their plans come to fruition on their big day. Then I absolutely love passing the images over to the clients and watching their response. To me, that makes this the greatest job ever.
Its fair to say weddings take up the biggest proportion of my time, but I also love the chance to shoot family portraits. I can come to your house and do this as I feel kids relax more in their own environment. I know mine do. The family portraits involving younger children are my favourite. Kids just make me laugh and capturing their personality in a photo seems to be a skill I have, or according to others it is anyway!
I dont get as much time as I would like to shoot landscapes. Maybe I'll do more of that when my kids are older.
I also do event, website and corporate photography. I can attend a ball, Christmas function or similar, take the shots have them printed and bagged ready to go the same night. If you are interested in this then please contact me.
